Smiley Face

Yay, I got my smiley face. Thanks to the whole etg group for all your help. It was fun doing the exercises once I got into it. I had to laugh this week when it came out that the Ontario government was banned from Facebook when we were all taught it at work. It is interesting and informative to know what the students of today are using the internet for. I have found a few friends from Facebook and a long lost cousin too. I also liked the online applications. I am sure once I start using these things more I will get used to them. Thanks again for all your help and especially to our group leader, Alex.

I tried to download Firefox at home on the weekend and between kids and cleaning I just wasn't having much luck. Oh also getting lost in the web for a few hours on Facebook didn't help. So on Monday morning I installed it at work. I think like anything it is something that I will get used to, the more I use it. My add-on was the weather one and Stumbleupon. Stumbleupon is something that could be fun because it does just that. I like the bizarre and the humour pages. I then installed the MORRIS bookmarklets and picked Journal Title and Title just because I am of Periodicals. I right away looked up a title from a stumbleupon humour section and MORRIS found it for me. That was nice and we have the book! Journal title I probably won't use so I am going to put in Author too.

Games

Yes, that is right I am a gamer. I play games online at all hours of the day and night. My kids tell me that I have a slight addiction. My favourites are Mahjong tiles, Bingo, Bejeweled and Solitare. I like Pogo, MSN games, Yahoo and Popcap. I don't usually chat to anyone when I play, because it is my down time and I don't want to talk.

I tried to do this last night at home but couldn't figure it out. Now I got it. As you can see I believe that I am a star. That was fun, might do some more later. Right now I have to get back to work.

Facebook and Myspace

I can't believe that I am up to date on everything.
Yahoo!!!!
I have Facebook, don't use it that much, because I don't think about it. I will maybe start using it more now.
My kids have Myspace. I don't like it as much. It seems more for the tweens then anything else.
